![]() ![]() The Golden Freiza fight will adapt parts of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, which was also covered in the second season of Dragon Ball Super. Goku and Vegeta will take on this new threat with their Super Saiyan Blue forms, which will make their first Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot appearance in this add on. In both Japan and the West, the DLC is confirmed to add both the Ginyu Force and Golden Frieza to the game as part of the new story. Although there have been several card game adaptions of the anime to date, Card Warriors looks to be a simplified side mode a-la Gwent in The Witcher 3. Called Dragon Ball Card Warriors, the bonus mode looks to be a completely new addition to the game that's free to all, although playing online will still require a subscription on Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus. While CyberConnect2 didn't hit quite as hard with this year's Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the inclusion of many side characters from across the franchise and a decent 3D fighting system make it one of the best way to kill Raditz to date. Arc System Works hit it out of the park when adapting the series to a 2D fighting game with Dragon Ball FighterZ. The last few years have seen a reinvigoration for the stalwart shonen series thanks to both Dragon Ball Super's debut on TV and a series of better than average video game outings. ![]()
